* It is recommended to always keep at least 20% of the internal hard drive capacity available at all times for best performance during live-capture. For example: If the total capacity of the hard drive is 200 GB, 40 GB should be kept available.

@ It is recommended to always keep at least 10% of the internal hard drive capacity available at all times for best performance.

^ If you intend on capturing multiple angles of video in such a way that each angle is being ingested on an individual Mac, "Stacking" is the process of simultaneously viewing multiple angles during or after the live-capture session. Stacking more than three angles is not recommended unless you have a Mac Pro (not a MacBook Pro).

If you are using an external hard drive to save and work with pre-captured Studiocode files, a thunderbolt or firewire 800 cable interface is necessary. USB is not recommended. Capturing directly to the Mac (not the external hard drive) is recommended.
